New Year - NEW YOU!

Can we just talk numbers, facts, and truth for a minute?  It's time to get real about New Years resolutions people.  Do you know what the top three resolutions are that people make EVERY YEAR?  Not that it will be all too shocking to most but they are as follows...

1) exercise more - 37%     2) lose weight - 31%     3) eat healthier - 31%

The other 1% probably vow to stay caught up on laundry all year.  Or maybe that's just me? The real shocker is the failure rate vs. success rate.  And here it is, in all it's sadness...

8% successfully stick to their new years resolution.  So that leaves a whopping 92% that fail.  And what exactly does that mean to fail at health and fitness?  And why?  Why do so many fail?  People know that health and fitness are important.  That's why so many chose something in that realm as their resolution.  Maybe it's not for lack of trying but how we're "trying" - First thing first, we need to all be in agreement that there needs to be a lifestyle change to be successful.  But goodness, lifestyle change sounds so scary!  Like join a cult, leave your home, family, and friends kind of scary! (Sorry, I've been watching The Path on Hulu)  But what if, stay with me here, it could be FUN instead of scary?!  Say whaaaa????  Let me explain...

Danielle, Caitlin, and I had this crazy idea of creating a place for women to work out that was actually fun and inviting.  With group fitness classes that were challenging but allowed room for laughter and community.  Well, we nailed it!  We took the risk, opened a boutique fitness studio for women and have enjoyed every second of watching our vision come to life.  But now we want to take it a step further and be more involved with the health and fitness journey of our clients.  Enter the New Year - NEW YOU membership.  And it goes a little something like this...

January 1st - you make the commitment to yourself to make that healthy lifestyle change, the FUN way, with us at Gfusion Fitness.  You'll get unlimited access to all of our classes, including aerial yoga, which we like to call "FLY".  We offer a wide range of classes and we're always adding new ones, so you won't be getting bored or hitting a plateau.  You'll be able to get cardio, strength training, toning, and stretching.  Oh, and I should mention that we only play the best tunes.  You won't be hearing any ocean waves or chimes.  We also encourage cursing if it helps ya get that last rep, burpee, or chaturanga pushup in (yea, its a thing at Gfusion).  On top of the sweet sweat sesh deal, you'll also be getting a monthly personalized meal plan.  To rock the said sweat sesh and achieve that overall lifestyle change, you'll need to be putting the right fuel into your body.  And, like the glue that holds it all together, you'll have monthly meetings with us to discuss your goals, progress, set backs, and a kick ass game plan.
